Purpose: Help Chinese companies to build an operating capability in the German/EC market by helping them to gain a general understanding of the life style and principles of doing business in Germany/EC.
a) Seminars and demos (3 days)
· The basic rules and regulations to be observed by a company operating in Germany/EC
The basic structure of a company operating in Germany, e.g. the definition of the different types of companies, investment requirement for constituting a GmbH or other legal company structure, etc.
· Cultural background and business day-to-day operations
Communicative skills for Chinese business people
Communications: dealing with German businesses on a day-to-day basis
Negotiations: the principles of negotiating in Germany/Europe based on the cultural differences
Etiquette: behavioral guidelines for doing business / table manners· The principles of quality management in Germany/EC
Understanding quality requirements, specifications and standards of products in the German/EC market in order to manufacture or provide products that meet EC standards.
· Product design, market preferences and trends
Understanding product design concepts and Europeans preferences. A tour is planned to underlines this concept.
· Using basic social facilities and business tools
Training for Chinese companies to use the internet, software for finding out about partners, marketing information, Internet banking, searching for information about flights, trains and bus connections, basic knowledge about travel and daily life in Germany/EC, etc.
b) Tours to German companies
Organizing visits to major companies like Siemens, Volkswagen etc. Also arranging visits to some companies that are of interesting to Chinese companies with a view to developing a general understanding of German enterprises.
c) Get to know Berlin
Introduction to the use of automatic banking facilities, travel facilities and finding locales for day-to-day survival in Berlin, such as Asian stores, Chinese restaurants etc. Guided tour of Berlin.
5. Business support and consulting service
· Three months of total information assistance
During working hours the Chinese companies will have total support in the form of the presence of representatives of Jeelong Enterprises fluent in Mandarin. These representatives will offer services to help with every aspect of the daily business routine.
· Individual legal consultation
According to the requirements of each Chinese company and in cooperation with BBDC, to arrange basic legal, tax, insurance and company related consultation, to help Chinese companies in answering their individual questions about extending their business base to Berlin (two hour of basic legal advice and two hours of basic tax and commercial advice).
· Individual support for finding perspective business partners
Helping the Chinese company to find and then visit one important perspective customer. If requested, this service can be expanded to provide interpreters or negotiation support according to the company's specific needs.
6. Preparing for visiting
· Provide health insurance documents, invitation letter issued by BBDC.
· Book two way air tickets, if requested
· Help to arrange business travel or tourist travel in Germany
· Help to solve all kinds of problems for Chinese companies during the three months stay.
